LHH is seeking an experienced Legal Conflicts Analyst in Chicago to play a pivotal role in the new business intake and conflicts process. You will analyze complex information, identify potential ethical conflicts, and collaborate with attorneys to ensure compliance and effective risk management.

The role involves conducting conflict searches, reviewing engagement letters, and producing timely conflict reports.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of law firm conflicts experience required.
• Experience with legal conflicts databases and new matter intake processes.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Professional communication skills and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Perform conflict searches and analyze results for new matters.
• Review and monitor engagement letters and conflict waivers.
• Partner with attorneys and General Counsel to resolve conflict issues.
• Conduct independent research using public databases.
• Maintain the integrity of conflicts and new matter intake systems.
• Serve as a key resource for attorneys by providing timely conflict reports and guidance.
