Job summary

Lewis Brisbois in Miami, FL is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to support the national Conflicts Department. The role involves reviewing potential conflict hits, eliminating obvious non-conflicts, and forwarding distilled results to the attorney for review.

• Review conflict hits for Attorneys, Secretaries, Paralegals and Administration firm-wide.
• Eliminate obvious non-conflict hits after search completion.
• Forward reviewed search results to requesting attorney and Conflicts Attorney for review.
• Research companies to determine subsidiary/parent relationships for conflicts purposes.
• Provide general information and answer questions about the conflicts process.
• Assist with conflicts database maintenance for consistent reporting.
• Must work well in a team-oriented environment.
• College degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Intapp, iManage, and/or Aderant is a plus.
• Minimum of three years in a law office environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct conflict checks for Attorneys, Secretaries, Paralegals and Administration firm-wide.
• Review potential conflict hits and eliminate obvious non-conflict hits.
• Forward the reviewed and distilled search results to the requesting attorney and Conflicts Attorney for their review.
• Research companies to determine subsidiary/parent and other relationships for conflicts purposes.
• Provide general information and answer questions from attorneys and staff regarding the conflicts process.
• Assist with conflicts database maintenance in order to provide consistent and accurate reporting.
• Ability to work within a team-oriented environment.
• College degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Intapp, iManage, and/or Aderant a plus.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a law office environment.
