Job summary

California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) is seeking a Coordinator for Conflict Resolution and FA Personnel File. The role supports the conflict resolution program and serves as the primary contact for Faculty Affairs personnel file management, handling confidential records with discretion on a large campus.

You will coordinate outreach and development activities related to conflict resolution and workplace climate, and perform pre-employment screening in compliance with Education Code.

Qualifications

• Four years of progressively responsible administrative experience, preferably in HR, Faculty Affairs, Academic Affairs, and/or records management or compliance-driven environments.
• Experience handling confidential information with a high degree of discretion and maintaining accurate, confidential records.
• Experience using database or case/document management systems (e.g., Maxient, PeopleSoft, SharePoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Faculty and Unit 11 File Management.
• Serve as primary coordinator and case manager for faculty-wide conflict resolution intake and related process support; maintain confidential digital case records in Maxient.
• Coordinate outreach, education, learning, and development activities related to conflict resolution, workplace climate, and related matters.
• Lecture pre-employment screening in compliance with Education Code § 89521 and contact prior employers for finalists.
