Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) in Edwardsville, IL is seeking a technically skilled professional to perform production level configurations and testing, follow engineering instructions, and troubleshoot a range of networking and telecom devices.

You will open OEM cases when needed, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure accurate documentation, asset audits, and compliance with codes and standards as you support customer programs.

Qualifications

• CCNA preferred.
• Associate’s degree in information technology or related field required.
• Experience with networking, wireless, telecom hardware and collaboration devices preferred.
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented environment essential.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot vendor networking, wireless, telecom and collaboration devices.
• Troubleshoot core network storage, servers, or general telecom products.
• Open and resolve OEM cases; coordinate with OEM engineers.
• Complete paperwork for reverse logistics, non-conformance and OEM cases.
• Lead troubleshooting for defective devices and systemic issues across technologies.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams and ensure clear documentation.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations and standards.
• Load OS, licenses, and firmware updates per customer requirements.
• Configure, upgrade, and test networking/telecom equipment.
• Understand installation instructions and document accurately.
• Perform physical audits of equipment and accessories.
