Job summary

Jobot is seeking a detail-oriented Configuration Specialist to join its technology team focused on transportation solutions. You will configure and maintain software applications, manage baselines across development, testing, and production, and ensure changes are documented and approved.

Collaborating with Engineering, QA, DevOps, Product, and Customer Support, you will support SaaS and embedded deployments, optimize configuration workflows, and help drive release accuracy and operational

Qualifications

• 2+ years in configuration, systems, or software support.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a software development or SaaS environment.
• Familiarity with Git and structured release processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple configurations.
• Experience with embedded or real-time systems and deployment.
• Understanding of change control and deployment processes.
• Experience supporting enterprise, on-prem or hybrid systems.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and customer-facing teams.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain software applications and system settings.
• Manage configuration baselines across development, testing, and production.
• Ensure changes are accurate, documented, and approved.
• Support software releases and deployments; maintain records and release docs.
• Develop and maintain configuration documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, DevOps, Product, and Support teams.
• Diagnose and resolve configuration issues; participate in RCA and actions.
• Identify opportunities to improve tools, processes, and automation.
• Configure multi-tenant SaaS environments and embedded systems; support CI/CD pipelines.
