Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO is seeking a Senior Configuration Management Engineer to lead CM activities for the PLM team. You will ensure engineering changes are properly documented and managed across the development lifecycle and work with Boeing teams, partners, and suppliers.

Responsibilities include item identification, baseline management, ECP/CCP coordination, audits, metrics, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Immediate need for 5+ years of configuration management experience.
• Experience writing technical proposals.
• Ability to obtain access to SAP (Special Access Programs).
• Active US Secret Security Clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support assignment of configuration items/CS/CSCI identifiers.
• Manage program technical baselines and interfaces.
• Prepare and coordinate ECP/CCP documentation.
• Perform configuration audits and verification for hardware, software, systems.
• Prepare metrics and status reports.
• Attend engineering and configuration meetings and boards.
• Collaborate with program teams, partners and suppliers.
• Educate/train others on CM processes.
