Job summary

CTS International in Oklahoma City is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist for a 12+ month engine replacement program. Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance; US Citizenship required.

You will guide the rules of military configuration management, organize drawing structures for engineers and modification facilities, and inform designers on configuration procedures. The role involves planning tasks, developing plans, and ensuring CSA creation and updates, with experience in EIA 649-1

Overview

Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. US Citizenship Required.
B-52 CERP is an engine replacement program. Company Oklahoma City is in charge of implementing a new engine and systems involved with an engine. This means adapting 2020 engine technology into a 1950s airplane architecture. The engine on the aircraft not only provides thrust but Bleed air to provide cooling to the aircraft, hydraulic power to move large surfaces, electrical power for the electronics. The controls for that engine will be in the cockpit.
(6) Configuration Management Specialists. Ability to be able to inform the designers on the rules of military configuration management. What type of kitting is necessary in order to perform the modification, how to organize the drawing structure for the engineers and for the modification facility.

12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
