Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking a Configuration Data Support Specialist in Simi Valley, CA. This temp-to-hire role focuses on maintaining configuration and data management processes for hardware and software documentation.

You will document baselines, manage records, and generate reports while coordinating with internal teams to ensure accuracy and traceability. DOE salary is $28–$30/hr, with a 9/80 schedule and Fridays off every other week.

• 2+ years experience in document control or data management practices.
• Experience handling engineering documentation and baselines.

• Assist with hardware and software configuration management and data management activities.
• Document, track, and maintain engineering baselines and records.
• Structure and maintain databases related to engineering documentation.
• Review and manage engineering drawings, parts lists, code, and related documentation.
• Verify approvals and incorporate authorized changes into documentation.
• Log, file, organize, and track technical documents and records.
• Generate standard reports to support project and configuration tracking.
• Track hardware and software assets for future updates and modifications.
• Identify routine issues and communicate with internal teams to gather technical information.

Job Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years experience in Document control or Data management practices

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
