Job summary

The Conference Service Manager at PUBLIC Hotel oversees planning and operational aspects of conference groups, room blocks, and catering events. You will coordinate group needs with Sales, Catering, and hotel operations to ensure seamless execution and a superb client experience.

Responsibilities include managing group business from contract handoff through on-site execution, creating room blocks and BEOs, and collaborating with Sales and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in Conference Services or related hospitality/events role.
• Extensive knowledge of F&B, room blocks, banquet setups, and AV needs.
• Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with Delphi, StayNTouch, Tripleseat.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and operations for conference groups, room blocks, and catering events.
• Coordinate with Sales, Catering, and hotel operations for on-site execution.
• Create and monitor room blocks; develop event orders and BEOs.
• Lead pre-con meetings, build client rapport, and upsell catering services.
• Manage billing, deposits, post-event follow-up, and client communications.
