Job summary

Auburn University Montgomery is seeking a student employee to assist with event setup and related tasks on campus. You will prepare spaces according to diagrams, move and arrange supplies, and keep storage areas orderly.

Applicants must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at AUM, have good judgment, and possess strong written and oral communication. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate good judgment and sound decision making.
• Excellent oral communication skills for in-person and written communication.
• Strong written communication abilities for emails and notices.
• Must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at AUM.

Responsibilities

• Set up event spaces based on room diagrams and instructions.
• Move, load, and unload office supplies, equipment, and furniture as needed.
• Keep equipment and storage areas clean and organized.
• Ask questions and seek help when unsure how to handle a task.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
