Job summary

Auburn University Montgomery is seeking a student employee to assist with landscaping, lawn care, and grounds maintenance across campus. You will plant, water, weed, mulch, and help maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees while ensuring safety and teamwork.

You will also support clean-up, outdoor spaces, and small repair tasks, and assist with event setups and campus beautification initiatives. This role requires reliability, physical stamina, and the ability to follow instructions.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled student at the university.
• Landscaping or grounds maintenance experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining flower and shrub beds, and weeding around campus.
• Planting, watering, and maintaining seasonal plants and trees.
• Assisting with mulching and gardening tasks as required.
• Removing limbs from campus grounds and cleaning outdoor spaces.
• Supporting campus beautification initiatives and event setups.
