Job summary

University of Texas at Austin seeks a Conference and Events Coordinator to provide comprehensive coordination for Longhorn Hospitality’s conferences, events, guest housing, and summer programs. You will be the primary client contact for CES, manage reservations, housing operations, and billing, and support marketing and business development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or GED required.
• 3 years of event planning experience.
• Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for conference, event, and guest suite clients from inquiry through program completion.
• Coordinate reservations, planning meetings, site visits, event/conference/guest suite logistics, and communications with campus partners.
• Assist with budget tracking, billing reconciliation, and financial reporting for conference and housing operations.
• Supervise student workers and assist with recruiting and training Longhorn Hospitality staff.
• Support marketing initiatives and client tours to promote services and revenue.
