C.A. Ferolie is hiring an Assistant Sales Development Manager in Montvale, NJ to support the Team Lead and SDM in managing client relationships for assortment, merchandising, pricing, and promotion.

You will handle analytical tasks, trade planning, and administrative duties to boost market share and profitability. You will also assist in category growth, monitor trade funds, prepare presentations, and ensure alignment with client priorities.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree required; 1-2 years of experience or an equivalent education/experience mix.
• Ability to present information clearly to groups of managers, clients, customers, and associates.
• Basic arithmetic to calculate budgets, margins, and forecasts.
• Strong critical thinking: analysis, evaluation, synthesis, and problem-solving.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support Team Lead and SDM to manage client relationships and achieve assortment, merchandising, pricing, and promotion objectives.
• Support category growth goals through analytical tasks, trade planning, promotional scheduling, and admin duties.
• Prepare and deliver professional presentations to clients and customers.
• Maintain records and review performance against objectives.
• Coordinate with Retail Sales Organization to ensure in-store presence and objectives.
• Collaborate with Customer Service to follow order procedures and resolve trade deductions and credits.
• Train and develop subordinates; uphold Code of Conduct.
