C.A. Ferolie is seeking an Assistant Sales Development Manager to support the Team Lead and SDM in managing client relationships and achieving objectives for assortment, merchandising, pricing, and promotion.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Food Marketing, Marketing, or Communications.
• 1–2 years of experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in presenting information to groups (managers, clients, customers, and associates).
• Strong arithmetic skills for budgets, net sales, margins, and promotions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of clients’ products, policies and personnel; develop objectives and strategies for growing the category.
• Manage clients’ trade funds management system and ensure accurate posting of trade expenditures.
• Monitor spending rates by brand and customer to keep plans within guardrails.
• Analyze market trends, promotional activity, consumer behavior, and demographics to inform decisions.
• Communicate clients’ priorities to the Retail Sales Organization to support in-store presence and objectives.
• Coordinate with Customer Service to ensure proper order procedures and resolve trade deductions and credits.
• Maintain records and review performance against objectives.
• Contribute to creating and delivering professional presentations to clients and customers.
