Job summary

Lamar Community College (LCC) is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional to serve as the Concurrent Enrollment & Recruitment Coordinator. Reporting to the Dean of Enrollment Management and Student Success, this role coordinates concurrent enrollment operations, supports recruitment initiatives, and maintains partnerships with regional high schools and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or education-related discipline required.
• Previous teaching and/or administrative experience.
• Demonstrated experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to initiate, implement, and follow up on projects with measurable objectives.
• Ability to foster complex relationships with school and university partners.
• Ability to travel and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Advise high school students on admissions and enrollment for Concurrent Enrollment and related programs.
• Coordinate with high schools to ensure enrollment and execution of concurrent enrollment contracts.
• Register students using college systems and maintain accurate student records.
• Visit service area high schools to advise and promote programs and support enrollment.
• Partner with marketing to raise awareness and participation in concurrent enrollment opportunities and post-secondary enrollment.
