Lamar State College Port Arthur seeks a Dual Credit Advisor Recruiter to provide student-centered advising, recruitment, and outreach to prospective and current dual credit students. This is a full-time position reporting to LSCPA’s Dual Credit department. Requires an Associate’s degree and 2+ years of related experience; a valid driver’s license is required.

The Dual Credit Advisor Recruiter has responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, providing student-centered advising, recruitment, and outreach services to prospective and current dual credit students. This position serves as a liaison between Lamar State College Port Arthur and regional high schools, supporting enrollment growth, student onboarding, and partner engagement. The role works closely with Dual Credit leadership, academic departments, and student services to ensure a seamless experience from initial interest through enrollment and progression. This is a full-time position that reports to LSCPA’s Dual Credit department.
This position requires employees to remain in a stationary position most of the time; move to various locations on and off campus; move about inside an office to access documents, office equipment, etc.; and operate a computer or other office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine.
Occasional travel required.
Normal office environment. Frequent client/customer contact.
Monday – Friday; 40 hours per week.
