Job summary

Lamar State College Port Arthur seeks a Dual Credit Advisor Recruiter to provide student-centered advising, recruitment, and outreach to prospective and current dual credit students. The role acts as a liaison between LSCPA and regional high schools to support enrollment growth, onboarding, and partner engagement.

This is a full-time position reporting to LSCPA’s Dual Credit department. Requires an Associate’s degree and 2+ years of related experience; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred for advancement.
• Experience in advising, recruiting, or student services helpful.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between LSCPA and regional ISD partners.
• Advise prospective and current dual credit students on programs and enrollment.
• Coordinate recruitment activities such as campus visits and presentations.
• Assist with on-site and remote registration events and documentation.
