Job summary

CMC in the United States is looking for a Quality Control Technician to join our team supporting construction reinforcement and ground stabilization products. You will perform tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products, inspect outputs, and help ensure products meet specifications.

You will document results, collaborate with production and engineering, and contribute to continuous improvement and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Understanding of concrete materials, testing methods, and quality standards.
• Ability to perform precise measurements and inspections.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of industry standards (ACI, ASTM, and regulations).
• Proficiency in documentation, recordkeeping, and basic computer use.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues related to quality and provide solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Inspect products for defects and adherence to specifications.
• Document and maintain test results, inspection reports, and production records.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Report non-conformances and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain testing equipment, tools, and areas.
• Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
