Century Concrete Inc. is recruiting a Concrete Quality Control Field Technician in Kansas. The role involves performing ASTM-standard tests on concrete and raw materials to guarantee top quality and meet project specifications.

You will guide batch plant teams, support customers, and maintain meticulous records. With opportunity for growth, the position offers competitive wages ($24–$26.50/hour) based on experience and certifications (ACI Level 1 and related).

Qualificações

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in concrete quality control testing and mix design preferred.
• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician certification highly preferred; Aggregate Testing and Hardened Properties certifications a plus.
• Capable of calibrating equipment, analyzing results, and solving problems; strong communication and decision-making skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct seven ASTM tests on concrete and raw materials to ensure quality and compliance.
• Lead batch plant teams in testing and quality procedures.
• Provide expert customer support and resolve inquiries professionally.
• Collect and sieve rock and sand samples to maintain high standards.
• Manage test cylinders between batch plants and the lab.
• Document test results and maintain accurate project records.
• Calibrate laboratory equipment and keep it in good working order.
• Deliver safety trainings and promote a safe work environment.
