Responsibilities
  • Perform routine testing of concrete, aggregates, and raw materials to ensure compliance with ASTM, ACI, and company standards.
  • Monitor and adjust mix designs based on test results and project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results, inspections, and adjustments.
  • Conduct on-site sampling and testing at job sites as needed.
  • Collaborate with plant operators and dispatch to resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained.
  • Assist in troubleshooting material or mix inconsistencies.
What We're Looking for
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Construction Materials or related field preferred.
  • Must have valid ACI certification.
  • Certified PennDOT Technician recommended.
  • Knowledge of concrete properties, mix design, and testing procedures.
  • Familiarity with ASTM and ACI standards.
  • Ability to work in outdoor and plant environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Must have correctable vision with reasonably good night vision; Must be able to lift and carry 50 to 100 lbs. occasionally and/or 25 to 50 lbs. frequently and/or 10 to 20 lbs. constantly to move objects; Requires manual dexterity and ability to bend, twist, turn, stretch, squat, kneel, sit and stand for extended periods; Must be able to work in elevated, enclosed and sometimes hazardous areas in changing weather conditions.
