Job summary

Oldcastle APG, part of the CRH family, seeks a plant operator to run equipment and adhere to safety policies while producing high-quality concrete products. This role supports production through setup, monitoring, and housekeeping in a fast-paced plant environment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance. PPE is required at all times on site.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret safety procedures, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds with assistance if needed.
• Must wear PPE: ear plugs, hard hat, steel toe shoes, protective glasses.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant machinery to produce concrete products from raw materials to yard stage.
• Inspect product quality according to standards.
• Assist in maintaining accurate production records.
