Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, seeks an efficient, safety‑driven operator to run plant machinery and produce concrete products. You will follow safety rules, inspect output quality, and assist with production setup and housekeeping in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or at least 1 year experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety procedures, operating and maintenance instructions and manuals.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds each, with assistance if needed, at heights from floor level to 4 feet high.
• Must wear personal protective equipment - ear plugs, hard hat, steel toe shoes and protective glasses.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment efficiently to produce concrete products from raw materials to yard stage.
• Inspect the quality of products according to standards.
• Assist in maintaining accurate production records.
• Monitor the operations of machinery and report malfunctions.
• Perform machine clean-up and setup during job changes.
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned area in a clear and orderly fashion.
• Cross-train on other aspects of the production process as needed.
• Ensure high accuracy in all work assignments and follow safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
