Job summary

Oldcastle APG is hiring for an Equipment and Machine Operator to operate and maintain concrete production machinery in a fast-paced plant environment. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and reliability in daily tasks within our Pacific region facility.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of equipment operation experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to follow written safety procedures while working in dusty or hot/cold conditions.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience operating similar equipment.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read safety procedures and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain concrete handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect the quality of products and adjust settings as necessary.
• Detect and report equipment malfunctions and quality issues to Plant Supervisor.
• Assist in maintaining accurate production flow and reporting.
• Perform machine clean-up, setup, and other duties related to product changes.
• Willing to cross-train on other aspects of the production process.
