Job summary

Oldcastle APG is seeking a skilled Plant Operator to operate and maintain concrete production machinery in a manufacturing setting. You will inspect product quality, adjust equipment settings, and report issues to supervision to support continuous production.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in dusty, hot, or cold environments. A high school diploma or GED is required and pre-employment screening applies.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing/industrial environment experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety and operating procedures.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 75 lbs and extended standing.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain concrete handling (Masa) equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect product quality and adjust settings as needed.
• Report equipment malfunctions to Plant Supervisor.
• Assist in maintaining production flow and reporting.
• Perform machine clean-up, set-up, and product change tasks.
• Cross-train on other production process areas as required.
• Execute daily and business fundamentals.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.
