Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a plant operator to operate machinery and follow safety policies to produce high-quality concrete products. You will read procedures, inspect finished goods, and help maintain production records.

The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, wearing PPE, and the ability to work on site in Berwyn, IL. On-site responsibilities include cross-training and maintaining a clean work area while meeting production targets.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret safety procedures and operating manuals.
• Ability to lift objects up to 75 pounds with assistance if needed.
• Must wear PPE (ear plugs, hard hat, steel toe shoes, protective glasses).

Responsibilities

• Operate plant machinery to produce concrete products from raw materials to yard stage.
• Inspect product quality to meet standards.
• Maintain accurate production records and housekeeping in assigned area.
• Monitor machinery and report malfunctions; assist with setup and clean-up.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervisors and cross-train as needed.
