Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking an Operator to work under the Production Supervisor. You will operate concrete handling equipment, inspect product quality, and report issues to supervision.

The role requires physical work, willingness to cross-train, and adherence to safety protocols in a manufacturing environment. Benefits include 401(k), disability and life insurance, health/dental/vision coverage, paid time off, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing/industrial environment experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience operating similar equipment.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety procedures and operating instructions.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 75 lbs., standing, walking, bending, and working indoors/outdoors.
• Able to wear PPE and provide safety boots after hire per program.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain concrete handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect product quality and adjust settings as needed.
• Detect and report equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervision.
• Assist in maintaining production flow and reporting accuracy.
• Perform machine clean-up, setup, and product-change tasks.
• Execute daily and business fundamentals as directed.
• Cross-train on other production areas as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors and lead operator.
