Job summary

Concrete Careers is seeking a Project Manager – Self-Perform Concrete to lead projects from turnover to completion, coordinating between the office, field teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors. The candidate should understand self-performed concrete operations, including planning, execution, scheduling, and cost management.

This role requires strong reading of blueprints, excellent communication, and the ability to operate independently while collaborating with project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of construction-industry experience.
• Advanced understanding of concrete construction means and methods.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and legal documents.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules, sequencing, and resource planning across multiple concrete projects.
• Oversee project budgets, production tracking, cost control, change orders, and profitability.
• Lead quality programs, documentation, and issue resolution to minimize rework.
• Coordinate with field teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution and timely material delivery.
• Review plans, resolve construction conflicts, and maintain strong communication between office and field operations.
