Power Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support its Self-Perform Concrete Group in Chicago. You will assist in project management, coordination of submittals, shop drawings, cost control, reporting, and document control during the construction period.

Qualifications

• Four year construction-related degree or equivalent combination of related experience and technical training.
• Strong knowledge of drawings and specifications, building materials, and standard construction practices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management/scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in budgeting and preliminary cost estimation.
• Maintain submittal and shop drawing control with project team.
• Coordinate RFIs, change orders, and contract documents.
• Prepare and update submittal logs and project schedules.
• Support project meetings and overall project administration.
