Project Manager I – Commercial Construction

The Project Manager I will manage construction projects from pre-construction through completion, overseeing budgets, financials, schedules, client relationships, safety, and overall project performance.

The ideal candidate has significant cast-in-place (CIP) and self-perform concrete experience, strong financial acumen, and the drive and leadership potential to grow within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from pre-construction through completion
• Develop and manage detailed project budgets, cost codes, and financials
• Track costs, cash flow, forecasting, and profitability
• Manage project schedules and performance
• Work closely with Superintendents, field leadership, and accounting teams
• Serve as a primary client contact
• Oversee project teams and direct reports
• Manage project documentation, safety, and risk
• Identify and proactively resolve project issues
• Utilize Excel and company-specific project management/financial systems

Must-Have Requirements

• Concrete Experience
• Significant cast-in-place (CIP) concrete experience required
• Self-perform concrete construction experience required
• Understanding of concrete placement, finishing, and field operations
• Experience with terms such as:
• CIP / Cast-in-place concrete
• Self-perform concrete
• Turnkey concrete
• Full-cycle concrete construction
• Ability to identify and address concrete quality issues, including honeycombing/air pockets
• Candidates should have hands‑on understanding of the concrete construction process, including pouring and finishing—not simply experience managing subcontractors
