Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Batch Plant Operator RMX to produce quality concrete on schedule at our Greenwell Springs RMX, LA site. You will ensure the concrete meets specifications and support production crews with timely delivery.

The role requires 1–3 years in dispatch or customer service, familiarity with dispatch systems, and ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and working in varied weather. Overtime including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of related customer service or dispatch experience.
• Working knowledge of dispatch systems, personal computer, telephone and headset.
• Basic computer and mathematics skill.
• Capability to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders as needed.
• Work in all weather conditions and overtime including Saturdays and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Batch concrete efficiently using computer or manual controls and adjust mixes as directed.
• Perform daily plant maintenance and minor adjustments.
• Complete customer orders, schedule deliveries, and handle paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with drivers to ensure orders are fulfilled.
• Inspect plant and equipment daily and identify issues.
• Coordinate with plant management to address potential problems.
