Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Batch Plant Operator RMX to produce quality concrete on schedule at Greenwell Springs RMX LA. You will batch concrete using computer or manual controls, perform daily maintenance, and support plant operations to meet customer orders and delivery timelines.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and 1–3 years in a related dispatch or customer service role, with the ability to work overtime, weekends, and overnight shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of related customer service or dispatch experience.
• Knowledge of dispatch systems, PC, telephone and headset.
• Basic math skills.
• Able to sit, stand, stoop and bend for extended periods; climb stairs/equipment; work in all weather.
• Willing to work overtime including Saturdays and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Batch concrete efficiently using computer or manual controls while following mix designs.
• Perform daily plant maintenance and minor adjustments.
• Complete customer orders, schedule deliveries, and manage paperwork; assist with equipment as needed.
• Communicate with drivers to complete orders efficiently; supervise multiple tasks.
