Job summary

Panorama Orthopedics & Spine Center is seeking a Patient Access Representative to deliver concierge-level service from welcoming patients to verifying insurance and scheduling services. You will coordinate care with clinicians and admin staff, collect payments, and ensure accurate EMR documentation.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, experience in a medical office, and proficiency with Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of medical office or customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage billing and insurance details.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for patients throughout their care journey.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage.
• Collect patient copayments, coinsurance, deductibles, and balances.
• Generate and communicate patient financial estimates and explain responsibilities.
• Schedule appointments, procedures, imaging, therapy services, and follow-ups.
• Assist patients with completing required forms and answer questions about insurance, billing, and procedures.
• Manage referral processes and obtain prior authorizations as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure timely care coordination.
• Maintain productivity and service standards set by the clinic manager.
• Support clinic operations by cross-training and coverage.
• Ensure HIPAA and payer compliance.
