Job summary

Air Canada Fort Lauderdale is seeking an On-Site Concierge Reservations Agent to serve top tier travelers. You will identify Top Tier/International Business Class reservations, fulfill special service requests, communicate with the global Air Canada Concierge network, greet and assist high value customers, and proactively manage connections.

The role requires strong knowledge of local attractions, excellent customer service, teamwork, flexibility for 24/7 shifts, and the ability to balance

Qualifications

  • Experience in airport concierge or airline customer service.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Bilingual English/French preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and review Top Tier/International Business Class reservations.
  • Fulfill special service requests for high value travelers.
  • Communicate with the Air Canada Concierge network for follow-up.
  • Greet and assist high value customers; provide personalized service.
  • Proactively monitor connections and re-book when needed.
  • Maintain concierge library and daily log.

Key duties
  • Identify and review Top Tier/International Business Class reservations.
  • Ensure special service requests are fulfilled.
  • Communicate with the worldwide network of Air Canada Concierges for follow-up.
  • Greet and assist high value/high profile customers.
  • Offer assistance for special needs.
  • Monitor connections and proactively re-book as required.
  • Work with Super Elite reservations desk and Customer Relations to resolve service failures.
  • Maintain and update Concierge library and daily log.
  • Develop a network of contacts and resources for diverse customer requests.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of local city attractions, events, hotels, restaurants and services;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Strong desire to consistently exceed customer expectations while providing personalized service;
  • Ability to work in a team environment;
  • Proactive, take-charge attitude in resolving problems with creative solutions;
  • Good sense of judgment in balancing customer interests with company policy;
  • Superior leadership and people skills with demonstrated ability to work as a team player;
  • Self-motivated with an excellent ability to work under pressure while handling multiple tasks at the same time;
  • Knowledge and experience as an Airport Customer Sales and Service Agent would be considered an asset;
  • Superior knowledge of airline service information and airport procedures would be considered an asset;
  • Ticketing experience would be considered an asset;
  • Adhere to Air Canada's uniform guide and grooming standards;
  • Ability to meet Air Canada medical standards through a medical examination;
  • Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment;
  • Candidates must be available for shift work in a 24/7 operational environment, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays;
  • Employment is subject to meeting US Custom & Boarder Protection (USCBP) requirements for obtaining both a Customs Seal and an Airport ID Badge;
