Job summary

The American Cancer Society is opening a Hope Lodge in San Antonio and is building a team to staff it. The Concierge will greet guests, manage front desk operations, coordinate transportation, and respond to inquiries in a welcoming, safe environment.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, experience in hospitality or customer service, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Additional education or training in hospitality management or customer service is a plus.
• Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of Customer Service Experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage check-in and check-out procedures (30%).
• Provide information about lodge amenities and community resources (20%).
• Coordinate transportation & EMPOWER Program services and schedules (15%).
• Respond to guest requests, concerns, and emergencies (15%).
• Maintain organized front desk area and accurate guest records (10%).
• Monitor lobby security and implement safety protocols (10%).
