Job summary

Planned Companies in Arlington, VA is seeking an Operations Manager to lead concierge, security, and janitorial services for residents and guests. You will build a professional team, manage payroll budgets, and uphold our customer service standards.

The role runs Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm with weekend availability, and offers an $80,000 base salary plus bi-weekly gas allowance and bonus. You will supervise staff, train for emergencies, coordinate vendor services, and ensure exemplary client

Qualifications

• Experience in a field supervisory or management position, previous janitorial or hotel-like atmosphere.
• Professional background in customer service and hospitality management.
• Hospitality-driven and able to assist clients and guests.
• Ability to coach and mentor team members.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Proactively learn about local events, restaurants, etc.
• Microsoft Word & Excel and Internet skills.
• Knowledge of budgeting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Concierge Operations run effectively per management expectations.
• Maintain client satisfaction to retain the contract.
• Provide warm welcomes and fond farewells.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor team members.
• Train team to respond to emergencies.
• Use payroll tools to ensure budget compliance and deadlines.
• Develop client offerings (car service, dog walking, etc.).
• Coordinate contractor arrivals/departures and client visits.
• Cover shifts to maintain staffing levels.
• Attend meetings and trainings and ensure team participation.
