Job summary

Omni Dallas Hotel in the heart of downtown Dallas welcomes guests with a focus on Texas hospitality and personalized service. This concierge role emphasizes arranging bookings, local guidance, and coordinating special amenities to ensure memorable stays.

The position requires luxury-hotel experience, a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and strong multitasking abilities. Go-Concierge and Opera experience are highly preferred, with a background in customer service and operations

Qualifications

• Previous luxury hotel experience is required.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule and be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for the entire 8hr scheduled shift.
• Customer service-oriented, ability to multitask, detail-oriented, and excellent organizational skills needed.
• Knowledge of the surrounding area and all of its attractions.
• Knowledge of Property Management Systems and related computer programs
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.

Responsibilities

• Arrange bookings and reconfirm airline tickets.
• Be acquainted with local points of interest.
• Assist in arranging restaurant reservations and limousines for guests.
• Ensure delivery of parcels, mail, or special deliveries to guest rooms.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to maintain the lobby and public areas.
• Accept other duties as required by management.
• Set up amenities for guests celebrating special occasions.
• Prepare special packages with concierge pre-calls and amenities.
• Interact with other departments to meet guest needs.
• Speak with guests warmly to make them feel welcome.

Overview:

This team member will go above and beyond guests' expectations, providing assistance and services to ensure pleasurable accommodations.

Responsibilities:

• To arrange bookings, reconfirmation of airline tickets, etc.
• Be fully acquainted with the different points of interest.
• Assist in arranging for restaurant reservations and limousines as required by our guests.
• Ensure the delivery of parcels, mail, special deliveries, etc. to the guest rooms.
• Ensure that the public area (lobby) is maintained, clean, and tidy by partnering with the housekeeping department.
• Accept other special duties as required by management.
• Set up all amenities for guests celebrating special occasions.
• Set up special packages that include pre-calls from the concierge and specialized amenities.
• Interact with other departments to ensure that guests' needs are satisfied.
• Speak with guests in a friendly, warm manner, making them feel welcome to the hotel.
• Proactively work to seek out ways in which to improve the hotel experience for our guests.
• Handle special requests, i.e., flowers, rental cars, forwarding luggage, private cars, etc.
• Perform any other duties as required by management.
