Job summary

Green Thumb Industries is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist (APS) to be the welcoming face of RISE Dispensaries, combining hospitality, customer service, and safety leadership. You will engage guests, support safety and compliance, and partner with store teams to maintain a secure, positive environment.

The role emphasizes warm, professional interactions, situational awareness, and the ability to move across the dispensary floor to assist patients and visitors while upholding cannabis

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer-facing or concierge experience is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and/or compliance technology is preferred.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus when paired with guest‑first service.
• Must meet scheduling and availability requirements including mornings, days, nights and weekends.
• Must pass all required background checks including cannabis employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage check-in with professionalism and efficiency.
• Maintain a visible, approachable presence to deter incidents and ensure safety.
• De‑escalate situations with empathy, tact, and clear communication.
• Escort customers and visitors as needed and support safe guest flow and operations.
• Report and respond quickly to safety, security, or compliance incidents.
• Assist with emergency procedures and site safety checks per SOPs.
