Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Vail is seeking a Concierge to support the Front Office team by keeping desk collateral updated and providing guests with tickets, reservations, and local information.

The role requires 1-2 years in a luxury hotel, fluency in English, and strong communication skills. You will interact with guests to fulfill requests, coordinate with vendors, and assist with various hotel duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel setting preferred.
• Ability to multi-task on several items at once; strong communication skills are essential.
• Working knowledge of computer systems and hotel operating systems; experience with Microsoft Suite and OPERA/Concierge Smart preferred.
• Knowledge of Vail and surrounding communities; good local knowledge enhances guest service.
• Fluency in English is required; current US work authorization is necessary; Spanish ability is a plus.

• Ensures standards are met and guest satisfaction remains high, responding promptly to requests.

About the role:

TheConciergeis a central part of the Front Office Team whose mainobjectiveis to ensurethat desk collateral and information for restaurants, museums, attractions, maps, and other local attractions are updated and current. They must know what activities are available in the area (theatre, sports,special events, concerts, shows, special exhibits, sightseeing) andestablishesclose contacts with vendors in these areasin order toprovide information, ticketing, and reservations for guests.

What you will do:

• Responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.
• Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible and resolving customer complaints.
• Assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events and directions.They will respond to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices.
• This position is also responsible for processing packages, faxes, messages, and mail which may be either outgoing or incoming in an accurate and timely manner.
• The Concierge may be responsible for assisting with Front Office or Bell Stand duties as needed.
• Ensures standardsare being met,guestsatisfaction is high andresponds to all guest requests inan accurateandtimelymanner

What you bring:

Schedule & Hours:

• This is a full-time position.
• A successful candidate will have the ability to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
