Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Concessions Stand Lead for UW–Madison Badger sporting events. You will oversee day-to-day concession stand operations and supervise a team of volunteers in a fast-paced environment.

Anticipated start date in June. Join Levy’s team delivering outstanding guest experiences with great food and memorable service at Camp Randall Stadium and Kohl Center.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience supervising others.
• Strong verbal communication and a customer-focused mindset.
• Food service experience preferred, not required.
• Must be 21 years or older (for alcohol service).
• Willingness to complete Responsible Alcohol Service & ServSafe certifications.
• Ability to lift 20–45 pounds and stay active during events.
• Availability to work all UW–Madison football home games and Kohl Center events.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise volunteer team, assign tasks and motivate staff.
• Oversee concession stand operations for efficiency and safety.
• Keep stand clean, stocked, and merchandised.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and address questions promptly.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation compliance and alcohol service standards.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate restocking during events.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors about staffing and issues.
• Perform additional duties to support event operations.

Summary: Join our team as a Concession Stand Leadand play a key role in delivering outstanding guest experiences at UW-Madison Badger sporting eventswith Levy. In this leadership position, you will oversee day-to-day concession stand operations while supervising and supporting a team of volunteers. Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Supervision:Supervise, train, and support volunteer group members, assigning tasks based on strengths and operational needs.
  Foster teamwork, motivation, and accountability to ensure efficient stand operations.
• Stand Operations Management:Oversee all concession stand operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with company and venue guidelines.
  Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges during events.
• Organization & Cleanliness:Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized concession stand at all times.
  Ensure products are properly stocked, displayed, and merchandised.
• Guest Experience:Deliver exceptional guest service by creating a welcoming atmosphere, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
• Compliance & Safety:Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and Responsible Alcohol Service standards.
  Promote a safe working environment for team members and guests.
• Inventory & Product Management:Monitor inventory levels throughout events and coordinate timely restocking of products.
• Communication:Maintain clear and timely communication with supervisors regarding staffing needs, inventory issues, or operational concerns.
• Additional Responsibilities:Perform other duties as assigned to support successful event operations.

Qualifications:

• Leadership Experience: Minimum of one year of leadership or supervisory experience with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Food Service Experience: Previous food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older (required for alcohol service).
• Certifications: Willingness to completeResponsible Alcohol Service Certification & Food Handler's ServSafe Certification.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 20-45 poundsand remain active for the duration of events.
• Availability: Must be available to workall UW-Madison football home gamesand the majority of sporting events at the Kohl Center Arena.
