Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Concessions Supervisor to oversee concession stands during UW-Madison sporting events. You will lead volunteers, train staff, and ensure safe, efficient operations while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Join during anticipated October start, overseeing service at Camp Randall Stadium and Kohl Center Arena with attention to menu quality, inventory control, and compliance with safety and alcohol policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience.
• Willingness to obtain Responsible Alcohol ServSafe Certification and Food Handler's ServSafe.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Ability to stand and walk for long hours during events.
• Ability to lift 25-45 lbs when necessary for setup and inventory management.
• Must be available to work all UW-Madison Football games and a majority of Kohl Center events.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations of multiple concession stands, ensuring smooth service and positive guest experience.
• Assist team members and volunteers, addressing needs and providing guidance during events.
• Understand menu offerings, presentation and pricing for accurate service.
• Maintain inventory control and proper handling of products and equipment.
• Stock and prepare concession stands before events and ensure readiness.
• Clean and close stands after events and ensure proper records.
• Complete event paperwork at shift start and end for proper records.
• Uphold cash handling policies and follow food safety guidelines.
• Enforce responsible alcohol service and regulatory compliance.
• Perform additional duties to support event operations.

Summary:
