Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Concessions Stand Attendants to join our team at Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, Rhode Island. You will greet guests, take and prepare orders, and provide friendly service during game events.

Responsibilities include serving food and beverages, maintaining sanitation, and accurately handling POS transactions while balancing cash at shift end. This role offers weekly pay and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in food service or retail.
• Strong customer service skills with ability to stay positive under pressure.
• POS system experience with accurate transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently during high-volume events while maintaining accuracy.
• Attention to detail in preparing orders and maintaining cleanliness.

What will you do?

• Greet guests, communicate offerings, and answer any questions in a friendly manner
• Serve food and beverage items, following proper sanitation guidelines and adhering to all alcohol service policies
• Participate in the set-up of the kiosk, arrange inventory, and notify the stand lead of any inventory shortages
• Maintain a clean appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipment
• Record all transactions via the point-of-sale system and maintain anaccurate cash count and balance the bank at the end of the shift

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in food service or retail, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure
• POS system experience, ensuring accurate transactions
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to work efficiently during high-volume events while maintaining accuracy and quality
• Attention to detail in preparing orders and maintaining cleanliness

Physical requirements

• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
• Ability to lift stock to 50 pounds occasionally
• May be required to work in narrow spaces or variable temperatures depending on the season
