Job summary

Levy Sector is seeking a Concessions Operations Manager in Ames, IA to oversee all concessions activities during events and drive guest satisfaction. You will recruit and train crew, ensure POS updates, and implement production processes to minimize waste and maximize service quality.

The role requires 5+ years in food/beverage operations, a hospitality background, strong computer skills, and excellent stakeholder management. Evening/weekend availability is essential to match event schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a food and beverage operational position.
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management is preferred.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Passion for hospitality, food, and retail.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work evenings and weekends, as dictated by event schedule.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all aspects of concessions operations
• Ensuring the recruitment and training of team members in our standards and procedures
• Driving engagement within the concessions department
• Ensuring point of sale updates and regular maintenance checks are completed
• Implementing concessions Production Sheet to ensure accurate production and minimal wastage
• Ensuring regular maintenance, cleaning and inspection of all concessions areas and equipment
• Oversee service standards during events to ensure a high level of the guest experience
