Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Communications Security (COMSEC) Custodian/Officer to manage and develop the COMSEC Program across multiple sites in the United States. This role requires a US citizen and an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph, with travel up to 15%.

You will maintain COMSEC accounts, train partner teams, and advise on COMSEC postures for AWS locations, ensuring policy compliance and secure operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of network and operating system support or 2+ years of related experience
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences preferred
• Experience with regulatory compliance management with government agencies preferred

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain COMSEC accounts regionally with deployment and inventory tasks
• Appoint and train partner teams to support ad-hoc requirements
• Update policy doctrine to ensure compliance with customer requirements
• Audit COMSEC accounts and maintain 100% accountability of items
• Develop and update operating procedures and Emergency Action Plans
• Coordinate with customers and vendors to support information security programs
