Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Communications Security (COMSEC) Manager to lead a nationwide team of COMSEC officers and advance the COMSEC Program.

The role requires travel up to 20% and US citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. You’ll oversee program reviews with Government customers and vendors, align COMSEC posture with mission partners, and ensure secure operations across AWS locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of people management experience including development, hiring, and performance management.
• 5+ years of experience leading operations teams supporting COMSEC, networking, or IT.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Establish the team structure to meet customer needs and business goals.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation plans before roadblocks arise.
• Lead the team to deliver results, manage problems, and decide when to escalate.
• Ensure teams operate to meet SLAs, track metrics, and drive customer outcomes.
• Provide guidance and resources to enable cross-org collaboration and compliance.
