Job summary

Piedmont Technical College is seeking adjunct faculty to join a pool of qualified part-time instructors for daytime, evening, or online classes at the Lex D. Walters Campus and county centers in Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville and McCormick.

Responsibilities include teaching diverse students per syllabi at multiple locations, utilizing instructional technology, planning and delivering courses, and adhering to EPA/OSHA requirements while supporting college mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the teaching discipline or an associate degree with demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline.
• Experience teaching in diverse settings and at multiple campuses is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach diverse student body in accordance with syllabi at various locations.
• Utilize instructional technology and a variety of teaching methods.
• Plan, manage and deliver course instruction; follow EPA and OSHA regulations relevant to the program.
• Participate in college functions and contribute to program and college improvement.
• Serve as professional team member supporting the college mission.

Piedmont Technical College is accepting applications to build an active pool of qualified candidates for Adjunct Faculty (temporary, part-time) positions. Adjunct instructors may teach at the Lex D. Walters Campus and/or at one of the college's six county centers located in Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick. Opportunities may include daytime or evening classes, online instruction, and dual credit courses offered at local high schools. Applications will be reviewed on an as-needed basis as teaching opportunities become available.

Minimum And Additional Requirements
