Job summary

Elevate Technologies in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking part-time Desktop Relocation Technicians to disconnect and reconnect computers at users’ desks, set up new computers, and install monitors on monitor arms. Training provided. Prior experience is preferred but not required.

Interviews may be conducted by phone, video, or in person. Location is in the SF Bay Area, CA, with pay ranging from $22 to $24 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow directions and communicate with supervisors.
• Able to lift 35+ pounds and manage physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inventory current computer setups on provided inventory sheet.
• Disconnect IT equipment at user desks.
• Reconnect IT equipment at user desks.
• Cable management of IT equipment using provided velcro.
• Post-project shifts available to technicians able to work on Mondays all day.
• Possible installation of monitors onto monitor arms.

Job description

Looking for part-time technicians to disconnect and reconnect computers at some of the largest tech companies in the US. This is a great way to get started in the tech industry and get experience. You will be required to disconnect computers and then reconnect them in the same manner they were disconnected. You will also be setting up new computers and installing monitors onto monitor arms on certain projects. Training will be provided.

We are hiring for Desktop Relocation Technicians.

Experience is preferred, but not required.

Interviews will be done over the phone, video, and/or in-person.

Title: Desktop Relocation Technician

Location: San Francisco Bay Area, CA

Pay: $22-$24/hour starting
