Job summary

Anthropic in New York is seeking a Technical Program Manager on the Compute team to plan, coordinate, and execute programs that keep the compute infrastructure running efficiently at scale. You will own critical workstreams from procurement and online capacity to allocation across teams, partnering with Infrastructure, Research, Finance, and Capacity Engineering to move fast while managing complexity.

You will build operational visibility into the compute fleet, oversee transitions across cloud

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical program management in infrastructure, platform engineering, or compute-heavy environments.
• Experience managing compute capacity across cloud providers or hybrid setups (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong collaboration with engineering, research, finance, and exec leadership.
• Ability to translate research needs into operational plans and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional programs across the compute lifecycle and coordinate execution with multiple teams.
• Build and maintain visibility into supply, demand, utilization, and health of compute resources.
• Own capacity planning, forecasting, and cost modeling for large-scale infrastructure.
• Drive improvements in tooling and processes to scale compute programs.
• Navigate trade-offs among utilization, cost, latency, and reliability and communicate decisions to leadership.
• Develop frameworks to plan, track, and execute compute projects at scale.
