Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounts Payable — Compute in San Francisco, CA. The role leads payment readiness, manages high‑value supplier obligations, and coordinates across Compute Finance, Procurement, Treasury, and Tax to ensure timely, accurate payments.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in AP/payments and a proven ability to translate complex contracts into automated workflows while driving improvements in controls and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in accounts payable, payments, or related finance operations with ownership of complex supplier obligations.
• Ability to translate contracts into executable payment workflows and approvals.
• Experience coordinating across multiple finance and accounting teams to meet deadlines.
• Experience applying AI or automation to finance processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own compute invoice‑to‑payment operating plan and manage material payment exceptions.
• Interpret contracts and amendments to define invoice validation, PO changes, approvals and payments.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve supplier disputes across ERP systems.
• Lead a payment‑readiness cadence across Compute Finance and Accounting teams.
• Coordinate funding forecasts and reconcile aging, payment registers, and settlement evidence.
• Design controls, validation rules, and escalation thresholds with partners.
• Map workload and assign tasks across teams, ensuring coverage and backups.
• Set a roadmap for workflow improvements and lead UAT and deployment.
