Option Care Health in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Compounding Technician II to work under a licensed pharmacist, performing medication compounding in a clean room for 50%+ of the time to ensure safe, accurate processes.

Responsibilities include assisting with preparation and dispensing, performing calculations for dosages, and ensuring quality standards; supervision is not required for this role. Requires a CPhT and state licensure as applicable.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician with 2+ years of experience.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
• Licensed or registered as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications per policy and state rules.
• Prepare medications accurately to ensure correct dosages.
• Review compounded medications for quality and accuracy.
• Ensure all compounding and packaging is approved by a licensed pharmacist.
• Maintain cleanliness and calibration of pharmacy surfaces and laminar flow hoods.
