Job summary

Accupac is seeking a Compounding Supervisor to lead a dynamic team in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. You will oversee all compounding operations and ensure strict adherence to FDA cGMP standards and customer specifications.

This role offers growth into strategic leadership with a direct impact on product quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in a manufacturing compounding environment, proven supervision skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years in a compounding department within manufacturing.
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
• Excellent English reading/writing/speaking.
• Familiar with FDA cGMP in compounding.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all compounding department activities, including scheduling, SOPs, and training records.
• Enforce FDA cGMP regs, SOPs, and customer specs across operations.
• Lead recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of compounding staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support discipline while promoting continuous improvement.
• Develop and deliver training programs to build team capabilities.
• Create and manage weekly production schedules for resource optimization.
• Audit personnel performance for adherence to specs and procedures.
• Conduct safety audits on material handling and equipment usage.
• Perform routine raw material inventory audits and documentation.
• Audit batch records for compliance and documentation.
• Coordinate calibration of departmental equipment.
• Provide hands-on support to team members across tasks.
• Troubleshoot issues using analytics and practical problem-solving.
• Update SOPs reflecting best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate new projects for obstacles and solutions.
• Collaborate with customers on new and ongoing projects.
• Communicate project status to management and leadership.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Lead nonconformance investigations and corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities to reduce labor costs and improve efficiency.
• Provide yield and performance metrics for budgeting.
• Communicate with all levels for alignment and transparency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
